I actually paid for Timurs kernel but the downloads are no longer available and it hasn't been updated in ages.
The original N7 charger has the data pins shorted internally, this way signalling to the device being charged: Navigation Gestures Customizable gesture control for any Android device. Is this issue corrected in Android 7?
